Dr. Mette Christensen has an M.Sc. in Animal Science and a Ph.D. in Meat Science. She is a former Associate Professor in Meat Science at the University of Copenhagen, Department of Food Science and Technology, from 2007-2012. Mette has more than 25 years of experience in animal science and meat science. Since 2012, she has been working in the R&D department of Frontmatec Instruments as a senior specialist in meat quality and is responsible for planning, conducting, and reporting on pork and beef grading trials at national and customer-specific levels worldwide.
