In the global effort to combat antibiotic resistance, the development and use of antibiotic alternatives have become especially important. Taiwan, in promoting the "National Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance" along with other countries, includes not only reducing the use of antibiotics in animal healthcare but also actively promoting alternatives. These strategies aim to lessen reliance on traditional antibiotics, thereby slowing the development of resistance. Through cross-sector collaboration and international cooperation, public awareness of this issue is strengthened, and new prevention and treatment methods are developed, ensuring the protection of public health and the long-term effectiveness of antibiotics.
