Start planning for Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum 2020

Taiwan premier agricultural international exhibition, Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum, featuring plant health management, greenhouse facilities, seed and seedling, orchid flora, smart agriculture devices and software, has generated a total transaction of 10 million US dollars during the three-day trade show in November 2019.  The show is co-located with Aquaculture Taiwan and Livestock Taiwan, one of Informa Markets Livestock and Aquaculture Show Series, and will be launched at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 on 5-7 November 2020.

Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum has entered its fourth edition this year and positioned its niche market themed on innovative, eco-friendly and sustainable manufacturing products.  The show is expected to attract more than 450 exhibitors to display 700 advanced technology-based items in the 11,000 square meter exhibiting area. The organiser, Sabine Liu, General Manager of Informa Markets Taiwan, pointed out, “the practice to input IoT and biotechnology into agriculture has been well developed in Taiwan.  It is expected itself to become one of the agri-tech representative models in the future.”

Three themed areas: Agricultural Machinery, Smart Applications and Agricultural Biotechnology will be the highlights of agriculture sector this year.  Led by local authority, Council of Agriculture, the Taiwan Agriculture Technology Pavilion will disclose technology transfer for access to quality agricultural products and by-products developed by biotechnology.  Likewise, Smart Applications will showcase agricultural drones, remote environmental control systems and electronic support tools for identification and management of plants.  The themed areas are expected to help re-conversion for development of agriculture in the Asia-Pacific.

Agri-Tech Expo & Forum 2020 is highly satisfied commented by the combination of industry, official and university.  The 3-in-1 event had accumulated more than 60,000 professional buyers and facilitated around USD 35 million business in the past three years.  The fair also includes up to 60 sessions of forum, seminars and conferences and expects to attract more than 450 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors to bring diverse solutions of food safety, biosecurity and food crisis.
